The world is on fire. The unequal burdens of the crisis are worsening. We are at a tipping point in Earth's ecosystem—and a crucial opportunity for collective action.
Cornell must rise to the critical issue of our time by transforming our carbon-intensive culture and proactively serving the greatest good. As participants in this system, we are ready to embrace brave tradeoffs for the sake of climate justice for all.
Our only hope lies in a profound transformation in which we restore right relationship with the Earth and one another while moving to a post-carbon future. We cannot wait. We must undertake collective action to demand a response that is adequate in ambition, credibility, and urgency.
